National Commission will lower gas prices for industrial consumers by 3.4%

On February 1, 2015, the National Commission will reduce the marginal price of gas for industrial consumers and budgetary institutions by 3.4% - from 5,900 UAH to 5,700 UAH.

The relevant decision was adopted by the Commission on Thursday, the "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.

The National Commission also set the price of natural gas for religious organizations, which is 50% of the price for industrial consumers - 2,850 UAH per 1 thousand cubic meters (excluding VAT, fee to the approved tariff for gas as a surcharge, tariffs for transmission, distribution and supply of gas at regulated tariffs).

The decision to reduce the marginal tariff was made in connection with the projected decline in average price of the natural gas imported by the "Naftogaz Ukraine".

As reported, last time, the National Commission reviewed the marginal price of gas for industry in late November, increasing it since December 1byo 15.7% - from 5,100 UAH per 1 thousand cubic meters to 5,900 UAH per 1 thousand cubic meters.
