In Mukachevo, in the middle of the day, a car with an inscription "Circus" ran over two pedestrians, who were standing on the roadside on M.Vovchok street. Two men with fractures of varying severity were delivered to Mukachevo District Hospital.
The report of accident was received by Mukachevo vity police around 15.30. The police officers arrived at the scene and established the circumstances of the incident.
The driver of a car "FORD Transit" with an inscription "Circus", while making a turn from Pisarev Street to M.Vovchok Street, lost control and ran over two pedestrians. Witnesses say, there was another man with the driver.
As the police found out, the two men are members of the circus, which is now on tour in the city of Mukachevo. After the accident, the "circus artists" left the car at the site of the accident, took their personal belongings and fled.
The victims – males aged 65 and 52 years – with fractures of the legs were taken to trauma department of Mukachevo District Hospital.
– The investigator registered the incident in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, – the head of the criminal police of Mukachevo city police department Yaroslav Tovkan says. – The investigation continues.
Persons, involved in the commission of the accident, have been identified, measures to arrest them are being taken.
