Uzhgorod has two new honorary citizens
The deputies of Uzhgorod city council adter all awarded the title of the "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod" to Halyk Oleg - the deputy head of the Transcarpathian Association "Prosvita" named after Shevchenko and Peter Bober - the President of the Association of Sister Cities "Uzhgorod-Korvalis (USA)."

These persons and their families living in Uzhgorod will never have to pay for utilities.

However, the deputies did not want to see Fedir Sandor, known tourist expert and Professor of UzhNU, as an honorary citizen of Uzhgorod and the draft decision was not even included in the agenda.

In addition, they adopted the decision on conferring the Honorable Award of Uzhgorod city council.
