The UC told about its candidates to Uzhgorod city council

The United Center nominates at the elections to the City Council Tetyana Ostapenko, Maria Pankiv and Natalia Mashkarynets. 

This was announced today, September 22, by the head of Uzhgorod city organization of the UC Yaroslava Hasynets.

"In addition, Volodymyr Smolanka, the rector of UzhNU the first number in the UC list will run to the City Council of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathian Regional Council", – Yaroslava Hasynets said.

The list of the "UC" also includes Roma activist Miroslav Horvat. Recall that the list of candidates to Uzhgorod city council consists of 36 candidates plus the candidate №1. It is the rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka. 20% of the "UC" list are students. The rest are mostly the "United Center" party members. Those are teachers and students.

The political party "United Center" is not nominating candidates for the mayor of Uzhgorod. For now, – Yaroslava Hasynets said.  

"We have quite strict conditions for people who may become our candidates: full moratorium on land, inventory and open auctions. Complete ban for disposal of communal property, reducing the number of utility companies. Those are radical demands and not everyone can assume such responsibility publicly.  We proposed several persons to conclude a political agreement. But, we have not yet found such a person. Currently, we do not support anyone for the post of the Mayor of Uzhgorod", – Yaroslava Hasynets said.
