The Secretary of Uzhgorod City Council and a candidate Andriyiv is involved in indirect bribery of voters - OPORA

Public observers over the election process see signs of indirect bribery of voters and abuse of official position in the actions of the City Council Secretary Bogdan Andriyiv - the OPORA informs.

The Secretary of Uzhgorod City Council Bogdan Andriyiv is conducting activities that have signs of indirect bribery of voters and informs about them in a positive context through the media owned by the City Council.

In the yards of residential neighborhoods, Uzhgorod NGO "Better life" organizes so-called "general meeting of tenants", which the potential candidate for the mayor and deputy, the Secretary of Uzhgorod City Council Bogdan Andriyiv was invited to. At some of these meetings, "the establishment of playgrounds" is announced.

The OPORA recorded announcement of these activities, where Andriyiv as an official listened to residents about their problems in communal services and announced Saturday clean-up.

Also, on the same week, public utilities began building in the yard a road at the expense of the city budget as part of the works envisaged and funded under the Programme of the socio-economic development of the city, which was collectively approved by the majority of deputies. However, according to a correspondent of the "OPORA", residents were only said that the funds for the repair had been allocated from the city budget, but at the request of Andriyiv.

The OPORA also stresses that these activities were favorably covered on the official website of the City Council and in the municipal newspaper "Uzhgorod". Also, there are no backgroubd data on the new billboards and citylights with photos of Andriyiva.
