The movement CHESNO will name absentees of Uzhgorod city council

On September 16, at 13.00, in the Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a press conference of the Public Movement CHESNO, who will name candidates for withdrawal from Uzhgorod city council. In the year of local elections, the Public Movement CHESNO continues to monitor the work of local councils as part of the campaign "Fair Spring – Responsible Autumn."

The participants of the press conference:

– Yulia Dub, the regional coordinator of the movement CHESNO in Uzhgorod;

– Yulia Borisenko, journalist of the movement CHESNO;

– Galina Chizhik, lawyer of the Media Law Institute, an activist of the movement CHESNO

By law, if a deputy misses more than 50% of session or standing committee meetings during a year, he or she could be deprived of the mandate (Art. 37 of the Law of Ukraine "On Status of Local Council Members").
