Slovaks once again found contraband cigarettes from Ukraine

154 thousand cigarettes were transported by a car from Transcarpathia. The contraband was seized on Friday by Slovak customs officers at the crossing point Vysne Nemecke-Uzhgorod.

The estimated cost of the goods is 21 thousand euros. According to Slovak media, the driver planned to carry the contraband to Italy. The cigarettes were found by a sniff dog. They were hidden in specially equipped caches. The Transcarpathian driver faces imprisonment for 5 years.
