Not enough votes! The decision on the master plan in Uzhgorod was not adopted!

Today, the issue of adjustments of the city master plan was put to vote at the City Council meeting. This new revision of the plan was to be in effect until 2031, and provided for the development of the city, high-rise construction in public space.

The City Council tried to pass this decision despite the court ban on any changes to the master plan and despite the negative attitude of the public to these amendments. Today, however, there was not enough votes for the adoption.

This decision is very important for the current government, because even after the request of the community not to vote for the changes to the plan, the Mayor Victor Pogorelov still put the draft decision to vote. However, there was not enough votes for its adoption.

Then, the chairman put the draft decision to vote once again, which caused a flurry of indignation in the hall. First time, 30 deputies voted the decision, second time - 27
