In Transcarpathia border guards detained two groups of illegal immigrants from Afghanistan

As we reported, recently 28 illegal migrants were found and arrested in Transcarpathia. Then, in the area of ​​responsibility of the Chop detachment alone, border guards detained 14 illegal immigrants. In the course of filtration measures, it was found out that a large group of foreigners had arrived to one of the border villages. In order to prevent illegal crossing of the state, border guards began checking settlements located in border area.

Through a set of measures taken by units of the State Border Service, yesterday border guards of the Chop detachment found and detained two more groups of illegal migrants. Six "travelers"were stopped while trying to cross the state border with Hungary. During their detention, the unidentified persons tried to resist, but as a result of coordinated actions of the borders, the offenders were detained. The detainees had no documents and told that they were from Afghanistan.

Another group of five people, also from Afghanistan, were detained by border guards of the department "Stuzhytsya" of the same detachment. 

In addition, in the area of ​​responsibility of the department "Dilove", border guards of the Mukachevo detachment found in a bus "Rakhiv-Mukacheve" a citizen of Gambia with an invalid certificate of refugee status.

Currently, the detainees are undergoing further verification measures, and persons involved in these offenses are being identified.
