UzhNU and the theater "Lux Aeterna" presented an innovative international project "Space Art Without Borders". It took place on the territory of the UzhNU Laboratory for Space Studies, amidst of apples and pears where the building of the space observatory stands and the planetarium, which looks like a dome of a circus, is installed.

The event was held as part of the CBC program project HUSKROUA/1101/105 "[email protected] - creation of scientific tourism product and network infrastructure for scientific tourism in the border regions of Maramures and Transcarpathia", which is being implemented by UzhNU. The project itself started in September 2013 and many interesting events have alread been held. In particular, the installation of the planetarium. Technical expert, assistant professor of differential equations and mathematical physics of UzhNU Oleksandr Reitiy told our publication that in this way they want to popularize astronomy. "It's one thing when you tell about the stars, and quite another one when you see them," - the scientist said.

All comers (there were many of them) were taken to the planetarium. They were warned not to take pictures and use phones lest light spoil the picture. The room can accommodate up to 17 people. I should say that we did not see any stars or planets. A soothing music started playing and colored figures began "walking" under the dome. As announced, "theater laser artists created for guests unusual stars, and professional astronomers and artists tried to create for the audience a single continuous image of the cosmos." In short, it was a space painting and light and music art therapy at the same time.

The director of the theater "Lux Aeterna", which has been operating since 1982, Daniel Friedman said that they wanted to cooperate with musicians too, because Space cannot be without music. The organizer of the festival "Musical constellation" composer Victor Telychko agreed with him.
