Almost 1,300 cartridges and 550 other items of ammunition

Nearly 1,300 cartridges and 550 other items of ammunition, including grenades, artillery mortar shells, bombs, anti-personnel and anti-tank mines have been found in the region. Now, these exhibits will be used by rescuers for training. In particular, for training of the military personnel dispatched to the ATO area.

The largest number of explosive objects, the rescuers say, since the beginning of the year, has been found in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo districts.   Fortunately, nobody was hurt.  However, since the beginning of this year, the group of Transcarpathian rescuers has been sent for mine clearance almost one hundred times. In some cases, dangerous objects were found by children.

Employees of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region warn - do not take suspicious items, if you find them, move away to a safe distance, enclose the dangerous territory and call rescuers. Indeed, explosive items can still be found in the fields and forests of Transcarpathia.
