Transcarpathia and Parbudice region signed a memorandum on deepening of cooperation
Czech delegation of the partner Pardubice region is visiting Transcarpathia.
The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko and the Hetman of Pardubice region of the Czech Republic Martin Netolicki signed a memorandum on deepening of cooperation between the regions.
The parties agreed on: the continuation of development projects in the social sphere Transcarpathia; creation of a contact information center in Transcarpathia for candidates for employment in the Czech Republic and provision of services for entrepreneurs and investors from Pardubice region; networking, cooperation and exchange of teachers and students of secondary schools of the two regions; supporting research and education cooperation between universities in the two regions, namely Pardubice University and Uzhgorod National University, particularly in the field of historical and cultural heritage; support for the efforts of local governments, creative teams to establish contacts in culture, the implementation of concrete projects in the near future, which include: exchange of folklore collectives; cooperation of libraries; organization of plein air for art school students and young artists; exchange of art exhibitions; protection of cultural heritage, including the restoration of cultural monuments; exchange of delegations of writers who live in the regions.
The parties also agreed to promote the development of contacts in the field of social protection and rehabilitation of citizens, tourism and recreation; establish contacts at the level of town and village communities in both regions.
The memorandum comes into force from the date of its signing by the parties and ratification at meetings of the Pardubice Regional Council and Transcarpathian Regional Council.
Also members of the delegation presented a gift certificate for the kindergarten in the village of Lintsi in Uzhgorod district.
