The oldest professional choir of Transcarpathia celebrated a landmark anniversary

On October 18, in Regional Philharmonic, there was a concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Transcarpathian Honored Academic Folk Choir.

The jubilee concert program consisted of the best song, music and dance acts from its repertoire.

Regional officials and representatives of culture of Transcarpathia awarded the artists with diplomas and gratitude and noted the significant contribution of the collective to the development of choral art not only at the regional, but also at the national level. Transcarpathian Folk Choir is a major representative of art and flavor of our land for important delegations from other regions and from abroad. Preserving and multiplying traditions of the Silver Land, the collective keeps up with the times, resulting in creative quests and numerous art events that confirm the active participation of the choir not only in the cultural, but also in the social life of the region.
