Puppeteers closed the festival

October 3, 2015, the closing of the XV International Festival of Puppet Theaters "Interlialka-2015" took place in Uzhgorod.

Recall that the grand closing was preceded by two wonderful festival performances "Hups-hups" of the Budapest Puppet Theater and "Kulkonyk" of the Kyiv Theatre-Studio "Personalities".

The respected jury, having viewed the performances of the festival participants, after an extremely difficult and responsible work, determined the winners.

Thus, the participants of the festival were awarded in the following categories:

In the category "Audience Award" – Puppet Theater "Parachute" (Kyiv, Ukraine) for the performance "Braveheart";

In the category "Best Actress" – the actress of the Kyiv Academic Puppet Theatre Victoria Ogorodnia (Kyiv, Ukraine) for the role in the play "Geese-swans";

In the category "Best Actor" – the actor of the State Puppet Theater Bogdan Bogdanov (Gabrovo, Bulgaria) for the role in the play "Foolish wolf";

In the nomination "Best Visual" – the Budapest Puppet Theatre (Budapest, Hungary), for the play "HUPS-HUPS" (artists Karoly Hoffer, Andras Lenart);

In the category "Best Direction" – Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theatre (Uzhgorod, Ukraine) for the play "Three times glorious Pintya, the Rogue" (directed by Aleh Žuhžda, Belarus);

In the category "Grand Prix" – Kosice Puppet Theatre (Kosice, Slovakia) for the play "Pied Piper" (directed by Aleh Žuhžda, Belarus).

At the end of the festivities, the jury chairman Leonid Popov once again pointed out a remarkable feature of the XV International Festival of Puppet Theater "Interlialka-2015", which is that the festival brought together many theater students, representatives of the Kyiv and Kharkiv theater schools who actively participated in the festival, master classes, showed their creative achievements. After all, young people are the future of the theater.
