Members of the Regional Council are studying draft decisions of the third meeting of the 23rd session

These days, deputies in standing commissions of the Regional Council are studying draft decisions for consideration at the third plenary meeting of the twenty-third session of the Regional Council.

 October 12, meeting of the commissions took place, namely on cross-border cooperation, tourism and recreation development, on health care and others.

They were attended by the first deputy chairman of the Regional Council Mykhailo Popovich, the manager of the executive office of the Regional Council Ivan Biben, heads of relevant departments of the Regional State Administration.

In addition to current issues of the second plenary meeting of the 23 session, a number of new draft decisions were introduced. Those are the approval of the program "Coordination of tourism development in the region", on amendments to the Program of tourism and resorts development in Transcarpathian region for 2011 - 2015, to the Program of provision of veterans of World War II with medical devices and conducting of free dental prosthetic for privileged population of the region for 2011-2016, to the Regional program "Diabetes Mellitus and Diabetes Insipidus for 2009-2015", to the Program "Care" to strengthen social protection in 2015, the Program of education development of Transcarpathia for 2013-2022, as well as to the regional budget.

Deputies also carefully studied and analyzed draft decisions on approval of the Agreement on Cooperation between Transcarpathian Regional Council (Ukraine) and Kaunas district givernment (Lithuania), on the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability Tisza / TYSA, as well as on the initiation of the Association of local governments "European Union Strategy for the Danube Region".

Also, they reviewed issues on mineral resources, property and deputies' appeal to higher authorities.
