In Uzhgorod, on Mynaiska street, a kiosk was burning
In the morning, in the market on Mynaiskastreet in Uzhgorod, a shopping kiosk was burning. At the time of the fire outburst, there was nobody inside, as the market was closed for the weekend. The operational fire and rescue service was notified about the fire at 09:30 by the market guards who had noticed smoke coming from under the roof of the building.
Two crews of firefighters of the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit were immediately sent at the scene. Rescuers opened the kiosk door and immediately started localizing the fire to prevent the spread of the flames to other buildings at the market. The spread of flames was stopped at 9:51, and at 10:05 the fire was completely eliminated.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are working to determine the cause of the fire. The amount of damage caused by the fire is also being established, since the fire damaged the metal walls and upholstery, household items and furniture.
