The Acting Head of the Health Care Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Tetyana Mitsyo reported that the region had received 30,000 doses of oral polio vaccine (OPV) and 23,200 doses of inactivated vaccine (IPV), which had been distributed among the districts. "Every parent who brings a child for the vaccination should know that they have the right to check the conditions of storage of the vaccine. Each vaccine vial has an indicator that activates if the cold chain is compromised. Also be aware that open vaccine should be used within 6 hours after the opening" - Tetyana Mitsyo said.
