"Bright Country" was opened in Uzhgorod

The festive opening of the Second International Children's and Youth Festival-Contest "Bright Country" took place on Teatralna Square.

The one of the largest creative competitions in Ukraine this time is attended by more than 1,200 participants, representing 16 regions.

According to the organizers, the feature of this festival is an opportunity for contestants to take part in a real festival marathon: "II International Children's and Youth Festival-Contest of National Cultures and Folklore," "II International Festival and Contest of Modern Children's and Youth Creativity" and the festival "PADIYUN-Euro-Dance," which will take place simultenously.

During the opening, the winners of the last year's festival Grand Prix and this year's participants performed on the stage. The celebration continued in the territory of Uzhgorod castle - with a theatrical performance with elements of knights joust and fire show.

So the first festival day has finished. Then, there will be creative competitions in choreography, vocal and instrumental genres. On October 30, at 19:00, in the Transcarpathian Regional and Drama Theater, there will be a concert "ROCK H and friends." The festival-contest will end with the awarding ceremony and gala-concert of the winners on October 31 at 14.00 in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional and Drama Theater.
