The official results of the mayoral election in Uzhgorod have been announced. The results of the counting of votes cast for candidates for the mayor of Uzhgorod were announced today by the chairman of the City Election Commission Yakiv Chernobuk.

Accordingly, Bogdan Andriyiv, a candidate from the "Vidrodzhennya" party, received 10,740 votes, and a self-nominated Serhiy Ratushniak – 7,169.

The candidate from the party "Bloc of Petro Poroshenko "Solidarnist" Mykhailo Kachur received 5,479 votes.

In total, there are 92,336 voters in Uzhgorod. During the local elections on October 25, 51,776 Uzhgorod residents received ballots.

The total number of votes cast for the candidates for the mayor was 48,277.

 

 According to current legislation, in the cities, where there are more than 90,000 voters and no candidate receives more than 50% of votes, the second round shall be appointed. In Uzhgorod, it will be held on November 15.
