Police Colonel Serhiy Knyazev signed the provisions on the General Directorate of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, thereby launching the National Police in the region.

Serhiy Knyazev himself will be the Acting Chief of the National Police in Transcarpathian region.

All new police personnel will also be temporarily performing their duries until each officer passes recertification.
