Track the manufacturing of travel passports online!

In early November, an innovation of the State Migration Service of Ukraine was introduced - now you can check online the stage of the preparation or manufacturing of your passport.

The service indicates one of the four statuses, according to the document processing stages: the documents are accepted by the migration service unit, the data are being checked; the permission to make a passport is granted - the data are sent for personalization to the polygraph company "Ukraina"; passport is manufactured and shipped to the place of issuance; and the last - passport is delivered to the place of issuance.

On the official website of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, there is a section "Checking the passport manufacturing status." Click http://dmsu.gov.ua/perevirkastanu.php

So, you need to enter the series and number of the passport of citizen of Ukraine on the basis of which the registration was conducted. That is, if a passport is to be made for adult. If a passport is to be issued for a child (under birth certificate), enter the series and number of the domestic passport of a legal representative (parent) who signed the application form! It also noted that the information on preparation of passports through consular offices of Ukraine abroad and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offices (including diplomatic and service passports) at the moment is absent in the service and will be introduced soon.

As noted in the press service of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, the service will allow to relieve the load on hotlines of the territorial migration service units, and to avoid cases where SMS officers artificially delay the issuance of passports.
