The main event of the week, if not the month in the regional center of Transcarpathia and the region in general is the oath of new police officers.
Not only 247 new Transcarpathian patrol policemen gathered on Narodna Square in the regional center, but also representatives of the Kyiv National Police. Thus, its head Khatia Dekanoyidze also took the oath along with our patrol policemen. She noted that she believes in the Transcarpathian boys and girls, that they are the best. She also congratulated policemen – participants of the ATO and presented a custom engraved watch to our hero Taras Ponomarenko.
Other officials also took the floor, but did not took much time. A lot of people gathered on the square – both friends and relatives of the patrol policemen, who came to congatulate them, and ordinary citizens.
The solemn moment – performance of the national anthem – and the new policemen went to prepare for the first patrolling, which will begin tonight in Uzhgorod and in Mukachevo.
By the way, the patrol police department of Transcarpathia is headed by Captain Yuriy Martsynyshyn, who until now was heading a patrol police company in Kyiv.
