On the election day, polling stations in Uzhgorod were mined three times (official)

In the evening, November 15, during the second round of the election of the mayor of Uzhgorod, three reports of alleged mining of polling stations were recorded in the regional center of Transcarpathia. The Rescue Service "101" received the reports at 18:50.

Units of the State Emergencies Service Office in Transcarpathian region and the General Directorate of the National Police immediately set off to three locations - on Aivazovsky, Zhatkovych streets and Svoboda Avenue. Rescuers in cooperation with the police evacuated 17 people.

Two items of equipment were used to check each of the three polling stations for the presence of explosives. In particular, bomb experts of the special purpose emergency and rescue squad and specialists of the Research Forensic Centre were working at the scenes. After the checks, which on average lasted 50 minutes, no explosive items were found. So, all calls were false.
