In October, Transcarpathia received more than UAH 281 million of taxes

The amount of taxes received in October this year is UAH 281 million 81 thousand, which is UAH 30 million 168 thousand more than that in October 2014.

The main purpose of tax revenues is to provide the state budget with financial resources. According to available data, the result of tax revenues to the budget in Transcarpathian region since the beginning of the year is UAH 2 billion 623 million 642 thousand. Compared to the same period in 2014, the figure has increased by UAH 887 million.

Some taxes are transferred to local budgets, others – to the State budget. The funds received by local treasuries, which is UAH 1 billion 397 million 567 thousand, will be used to address the needs of local communities, the funds transferred to the state budget – UAH 1 billion 223 million 706 thousand UAH – will be used to address the national needs.

– Tax revenues occupy a leading position among the various methods of budget resources mobilization and tools of state regulation of the economy. In Transcarpathian region, entities and citizens registered with the STI of Uzhgorod have paid to the budget UAH 681 million 440 thousand of taxes, taxpayers of Mukachevo district STI – UAH 499 million 28 thousand, and taxpayers of Uzhgorod district STI – UAH 449 million 834 thousand. These amounts of tax revenues indicate that in these districts and cities of the region the economy is growing the most actively and the largest amounts of taxes are being paid, – Oleksiy Petrichenko, the head of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region says.
