Chop border guards detained three Syrians

While patrolling the border, officers of the department "Tisa" of the Chop border guards detachment found traces leading toward Hungary. As it turned out later, the traces belonged to a citizen of Syria.  He made a hole in the barrier fence and attempted to illegally cross the border. However, with the help of a sniffer dog, border guards caught the offender. The man had no documents on him. Currently, the Syrian is in a temporary detention center.

Another two citizens of Syria were detained by border guards in Uzhgorod. During the inspection of documents, it was revealed that the Syrians had the permits for residence in Ukraine, but they admitted that they had come to Transcarpathia with the intention to get to EU countries.

The further fate of the migrants will be determined by court.
