Andriyiv wants to rule without politics, Pogorelov and Moskal wished him success
In his first speech as the Mayor of Uzhgorod Bogdan Andriyiv said that he would try to rule without politics.
In his opinion, apolitical members of the executive committee and deputies should be elected. "The city for years has been suffering from political confrontations, and it does not need it," - the new mayor said.
Then the former Mayor Victor Pogorelov took the floor and thanked everyone for their cooperation and wished the new deputies to collaborate with the new mayor. "He worked with me for about a year as the secretary, he is a worthy candidate," - Pogorelov said.
Then the head of the RSA Hennadiy Moskal took floor. He said that hopes that city officials will be able to team up and bring the city to a new level. He wished them "fruitful work, harmony, peace and mutual understanding."
A representative of the Moscow Patriarchate Orthodox Church Bishop Theodore gave blessings.
