A Hungarian with a bayonet-knife to the Kalashnikov was detained in Chop
Border guards of the Chop detachment detained a Hungarian, who tried to take out of Ukraine a bayonet knife to the AK-74.
The man arrived at the checkpoint "Tisa" by a truck "Volvo". During the border and customs control, the Hungarian citizen behaved nervously. Law enforcement officers suspected him of possible transportation of items prohibited for movement across the border. Therefore, border guards sent the truck for in-depth inspection. During it, they found a bayonet-knife for AK-74 hidden from the border and customs control.
The military knife in a sheath with the blade length of 144 mm made of white metal was among the personal effects, namely in the top right drawer above the passenger seat in the driver's cabin.
The discovery of the bayonet knife was reported to Uzhgorod police.The bayonet knife was confiscated by customs officers.
