Transcarpathian business actively "feeds" not only the regional economy

Despite the crisis in the country, Transcarpathia is trying to keep positive indicators of the industry. This was stressed by the Deputy Director of the Economic Development and Trade Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yuriy Huzynets.

While in Ukraine the index of industrial output in January-February 2015 was 78.3% (compared to the same period last year), in Transcarpathia the figure was 101.0%.

Also, there was a growth of total sales in selling prices. In January 2015, it amounted to UAH 932.9 million against UAH 694.9 billion in the corresponding period in the last year, that is it increased by almost UAH 238 million.

According to the official, the largest share in the structure of sold industrial products by types of activity (69.1%) accounts for products of processing industries, including engineering enterprises - 34.1%; 27.7% - supply electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air; 1.8% accounts for the mining industry and development of quarries; 1.4% - on water supply; sewerage, waste management.

"The positive dynamics was achieved on account of such regional companies as: "Flextronics" LLC, "Yazaki-Ukraine" LLC, "Bon-ton" LLC, "Kotar-M" LLC, "Perechyn forest chemical plant", "SIO" PE. "SIO-K" LLC, "Irshava abrasive factory" JSC, as well as "Aqua-Polyana" LLC, "Kontakt-5" LLC. In addition it should be noted that these enterprises are actively supporting soldiers of the ATO" - the Deputy Director of the Economic Development and Trade Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yuriy Huzynets said.
