On March 4, border guards of Mukachevo military commandant returned to Transcarpathia from the ATO area. They were in the troubled East for more than 6 months.
Soldiers were welcomed on the territory of Mukachevo border guard detachment. In addition to relatives and friends, who were fervently waiting for their heroes with patriotic symbols, the ceremony was attended by cadets of the Military Lyceum, the mayor of Mukachevo Zoltan Lendyel, the first deputy head of Mukachevo District State Administration Andriy Dankanych and a priest of Mukachevo Greek Catholic Diocese, Fr. Oleg.
During the celebrations, the management of the detachment recognized high patriotism and fortitude of the fighters. Also, the border guards received insignia from the management of the detachment, and from the city and district authorities.
For now, the soldiers, who have returned from the ATO area, will have a well-deserved vacation.
This day will be remembered for all border guards. But it will be the most memorable for one of the soldiers who, on March 4, saw his newborn baby for the first time.
