The security of the region and the country and issues of the social protection of servicemen were discussed in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration held a meeting with the military. Vasyl Hubal discussed the situation regarding the security of the region and the country, as well as the social security of the ATO participants with Major General Igor Dovgan - the Commander of Operational Command "West" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Serhiy Shaptala - the commander of the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade, Colonel Ivan Vasyltsyun - the regional military commissar, and Colonel Olekandr Godoy - the deputy military commissar.

First of all Major General Dovgan thanked the head of the region for all that is being done to support the army in Transcarpathia. The head of the region said that the government and the community have an understanding on these issues, and that last year about 20 million hryvnia was allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of ammunition, material assistance, etc. 

Then, they spoke about mobilization. Vasyl Hubal characterized its progress in the region as follows: "The process is not easy. But we focus not on the quantity, but on the quality." Then, they talked about the issues of the 128th brigade, Transcarpathian soldiers. The head of the RSA once again thanked the 128th brigade for the service and for heroism.

Overall Vasyl Hubal, talked with the military officers about patriotism, the challenges faced by every Ukrainian in the protection of the state, about military affairs, the security of the country and the region.
