The recital of Miklos Nagy was held in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)
In the regional center of Transcarpathia, the recital of Miklos Nagy from Hungary was held as part of the festival "March cats". The moderator of the presentation was the poet Andriy Lyubka.
They talked about modern Hungarian literature, about stereotypes and the impact of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia on his perception of the Russian language, as he has long been doing translations of works of world literature into Russian. He says he condemns the actions of the President Vladimir Putin, but his attitude to the Russian language has not changed. Not everybody is like Putin.
Miklos Nagy (born in 1963) is a writer, critic, translator, director of the "Europa" publishing house (Budapest). Translator of Russian, English and Spanish literature. Recently he published his novel in essays "Ha nem is egy bomba nő", 2014, which the writer presented in Uzhgorod. He edited books by Ukrainian writers Oksana Zabuzhko and Serhiy Zhadan.
