The National Bank of Ukraine changed the procedure for setting the official hryvnia exchange rate.
This is stated in the resolution of the NBU No. 194 of March 19, 2015.
As noted, starting from March 31, 2015, the official exchange rates of foreign currencies and precious metals exchange rates shall be set at the end of the working day and take effect on the next working day.
The notice of setting the official rate shall be published on the day it is set by 18.00 on the official website of the National Bank.
Recall that the current procedure provides that the official rate shall be set and published in the middle of a working day and take effect immediately.
As reported, on March 26, the National Bank set the official hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 23.5 per dollar.
