Poroshenko presented state awards to participants of the ATO
The President of Ukraine Poroshenko signed a decree on awarding the servicemen who displayed courage and professionalism during the anti-terrorist operation.

By the Decree of March 14, №144, the President presented state awards to 158 members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, police officers and officers of the State Emergencies Service. 95 soldiers, who died during the fighting in August and October last year, were awarded posthumously.
Among the recipients in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are 4 servicemen who have received the Order "For courage" for the second time, this time - for the courage displayed during the fighting at the Debaltseve bridgehead. Those are sergeant Serhiy Mudry, soldier Yevhen Panakhyda, sergeant Andriy Prometny and senior soldier Roman Shvayuk.
Medals "For military service to Ukraine" were awarded to six officers of the National Guard, who were ensuring the withdrawal of units of the Armed Forces from Debaltseve. Those are warrants Oleg Boyko and Ivan Hlukhanyuk, captain Artem Hrushko, chief warrants Hryhoriy Mazur and Serhiy Malohulko and senior soldier Denis Pukhnarevych.
In addition, the President awarded orders to three employees of the State Emergencies Service who ensured evacuation of civilians from Debaltseve. Those are Major General of the Civil Protection Service Mykola Ilchenko, Junior Sergeant of the CPS Oleksandr Mirkevich and Lieutenant Colonel of the CPS Oleksandr Stryushchenko.
