In Transcarpathia, wage arrears is more than UAH 3.5 million

On March 26, under the chairmanship of the Director of the Social Welfare Department of the RSA Victor Matsola, there was a selector meeting with district state administrations and city executive committees on arrears in the payment of salaries, pensions, stipends and other social benefits and tax debt.

According to Victor Matsola, the arrears of wages in the region as of February 1 was UAH 3577.5 thousand, which is 0.2 percent of the total debt in Ukraine.

According to DSAs and city executive committees, as of March 23, 2015, the arrears of wages at enterprises, organizations, institutions of the region amounted to UAH 4515.6 thousand. This amount compared to January 1, 2015, increased by UAH 453.3 thousand, or 11.2 percent. 

No arrears of wages are recorded in the cities of Beregovo and Chop, as well as Vynogradiv, Volovets, Irshava, Mizhhirya, Svalyava and Khust districts.

The first Deputy Head of the Pension Fund Main Office in Transcarpathian region Victor Olefir reported on the level of debt to the Pension Fund. He said that as of March 1, the total debt on insurance premiums and refund of privileged pensions is 51.1  million hryvnia, which is 1.1 million more than at the beginning of the year. The largest increase is observed in Tyachiv district - by 0.4 million and in Uzhgorod - by 0.2 million.

Minor amounts of debt on insurance premiums appear on budgetary institutions. The debt in the region amounts to 49.9 thousand hryvnia.            

 

At the end of the conference call, Victor Matsola instructed the heads of district state administrations and city executive committees to provide the information about the causes of new debt in enterprises in the region to the Social Welfare Department of the RSA by April 1. Also, by April 30, they shoud take measures to repay the arrears in the payment of wages that have arisen within a month in the region.
