In Transcarpathia, a short circuit caused a fire in the car
On March 24, in the village of Velyky Berezny on Fizkulturna street, a car "Opel Vectra" caught fire. The fire originated in front of the vehicle owner, who had parked the car near the garage. Then, at 12:44 the man reported the incident to the rescue service.
Officers of the 2nd State Fire and Rescue Unit arrived promptly to fight the fire. Already at 12:49, the firefighters localized the fire, and a minute later it was completely eliminated.
Likely cause of the fire was electrical short circuit in the dashboard of the car. The damages are estimated at 10 thousand, because the fire destroyed the dashboard, windshield, interior trim in the front of the car. In addition, the front seat of the vehicle were damaged.
