In Mizhhirya district, the prosecutors went to court because of the budget shortfall of funds for the rent

The prosecutor’s office of Mizhhirya district filed 5 claims to the Economic Court of Transcarpathian region in the interest of the state represented by Pylypets village council of Mizhhirya district to entities on amendments to land lease agreements.

In particular, according to the prosecutor of Mizhhirya district Kostyantin Tsap, the prosecutors found out that local governments and entities, contrary to legal requirements, did not take measures to amend the concluded land lease agreements, despite the fact that Pylypets village council approved the technical documentation on monetary evaluation of land and made a new regulatory monetary evaluation of land. Thus, Pylypets village council lost a significant amount of budget funds from the rent for the land.
