"DUO PETROF" will perform in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic (Announcement)

Recently our famous countryman, world class composer, pianist and conductor Anatoly Zatin was honored with the highest UNESCO international award and the main award in classical music - Mozart Gold Medal 2015 "for outstanding career in classical music."

A native of Uzhgorod, former graduate of Uzhgorod children's music school named after PI Tchaikovsky and Uzhgorod State Music College named after D. Zador, he is now a doctor of music, the director of the Institute of fine arts at the University of Colima (Mexico). 

The concert of our famous countryman and his former student and now colleague Vlada Vasilieva will take place in the coming days in Uzhgorod:

The concert of "DUO PETROF" (Mexico) will be held on March 21 at 17.00 in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.

The piano duo consisting of Anatoly Zatin and Vlada Vasilieva started their concert activity in 2003 as part of the joint project of the University of Colima in Mexico and the Czech piano-making company Petrof with the intent to promote the music of different eras and styles written for four hands and two pianos. Since then, the duo has been actively and successfully performing in the most famous concert halls in Mexico, the US, Asia and Europe. In 2008, the duo became the official representative of the famous Czech piano manufacturer in the world.


In 2008, "Duo Petrof" made their first world tour, during which they performed in the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Mexico, the US and China. In the same year, at the International Music Exhibition in Shanghai, there was the presentation of the "Duo Petrof" album.
