Are architectural monuments in Uzhgorod being sold for pennies? (Infographic)

On the page Transcarpathian Heritage in facebok, which publishes historical photos of different periods from all over Transcarpathia, there is the infographic "Architectural monuments for pennies."

"Valuable historical buildings in the center of Uzhgorod may be sold without the auction" – the author wrote. From the infographic, it is clear that the rent paid by entrepreneurs for the same old buildings is 9 UAH per square meter, while the real market price for them is 250 UAH.

One of the possible consequences of such privatization, the authors emphasize, is the sale at a reduced price, loss of authentic elements during reconstruction and change of the historical landscape of the city.
