Another emergency medical aid station will be opened in Velyky Berezny district

Members of the Regional Council supported the parliamentary inquiry of their colleague Vasyl Churey to establish an emergency medical aid station in the village of Kostrynska Roztoka of Velyky Berezny district and sent it to the Regional State Administration.

"As a deputy of the regional council I have been repeatedly approached by residents of the village of Kostrynska Roztoka, Vyshka, Lyuta asking to open the emergency medical aid station due to the fact that these villages are located in mountainous areas, far from existing emergency medical aid stations in Velyky Berezny districts, which greatly complicates the provision of full and timely medical care.

The existing emergency medical aid stations are located at the distance of 50 km from the village of Lyuta, and when the ambulance is on call this distance may be increased to 82-85 km.

The opening of the emergency medical aid station will help to prevent negative consequences due to late arrival of ambulance on calls and will improve the state of public health in this area.

To facilitate the opening of the emergency medical aid station, the local government in the village of Kostrynska Roztoka prepared and brought to a proper state an administrative 3-room building, equipped with telephone and means of heating", – the request states.

The Regional State Administration was instructed to inform the deputy of the Regional Council and the Regional Council on the result of the request consideration by March 23.
