A young resident of Irshava district decided to purchase fashionable shoes online and, as a result, lost the money in the amount of 816 UAH.
A 25-year-old resident of the village of Dovhe in Irshava district became the victim of a fraud. On the Internet, the victim met a stranger who offered her to buy two pairs of women's shoes for 816 UAH. The price was reasonable, so the girl agreed to the offer. The gulliable Transcarpathian transferred the "seller" the required amount, after that she could not contact her anymore...
The woman, realizing that she had been deceived, appealed to Irshava district police department. Currently, the police are establishing the identity of the crook.
This incident was registered in the Unified register under Part 1 of Art.190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud), which provides for punishment by a fine of up to 50 tax-free minimum incomes, correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment for up to three years.
By the way, this is not the first time inhabitants of Irshava district become victims of scammers when buying goods online. Therefore, the police once again urge citizens to be careful. When ordering goods online, make payments for them only upon receipt.
