On the night of 6 to 7 of March, at the checkpoint "Maly Berezny", on the border with Slovakia, 20 thousand dollars was seized from a Polish citizen who was leaving Ukraine.
The man, who was carrying the currency, could not cope with his anxiety, which made the border guards carry out in-depth inspection of his valuable car "BMW X6". As a result, in the compartments under both front seats, they found two packages with the US currency – 10,000 in each. The man admitted that the currency belonged to him.
In accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, this cash was confiscated and evaluated at 461,810 hryvnia, the press service of the Chop border guard detachment informed.
