A real Celt has appeared in Mukachevo. Although, a mini one (Photofacts)

The first mini-sculpture on railings has appeared in Mukachevo - a small monument to a Celt. He settled on the railing near the main transport bridge, near Parkaniy street.

It is known that Celtic tribes of the La Tène culture settled in Transcarpathia in the first half of the first millennium C.E.

They linked modern Transcarpathian with the past achievements of European civilization.

Some secrets of the Celtic influence on Ukrainians are still shrouded in mistery. In particular, the secrets of the famous Celtic blacksmithing are not fully explored.

That is why the image of a Transcarpathian Celtic blacksmith is perpetuated in the sculpture. On Mukachevo parapets, against the mountain of Halish, he forges a typical Celtic sword found by archaeologists in the oppidum Halish-Lovachka - the Zakarpattya-online reported.

Photographer Sergey Denisenko said: "In Mukachevo opened the first mini-sculpture. Local residents almost unanimously predict, "Yu, the most in a week!" What do you think, how many Celts sat on the railing of the embankment Latorytsya? "
