A 52-year-old Uzhgorod resident was selling ammunition at the market

He tried to sell a passer-by 22 cartridges to a machine gun and a small caliber rifles.

Uzhgorod city police received a report that at one of the city markets an unidentified man was offering passers-by to buy ammunition from him. The police officers arrived at the scene. The man was caught at the market. He was carrying 7 cartridges for Kalashnikov assault rifle and 22 cartridges for small caliber rifle.

The offender was identified - it was a 52-year-old resident of Uzhgorod. By the way, he already has a criminal record. The man explained that he had received the ammunition as a gift and was keeping it at home. When he needed the money, he decided to sell it. The ammunition was seized and sent for examination to the Research Forensic Centre at the regional MIA Office. The investigator of Uzhgorod city police has initiated criminal proceedings over this incident.
