The draft decision "On arrangement of recreation area and measures to prevent loss of life on city water bodies" was agreed at the meeting of the Executive Committee on May 20.
Taking into account the Typical rules of protection of human life on water bodies of Ukraine and the hydrological regime of the Uzh river, the executive committee of the City Council decided to arrange the water recreation area for the city residents near the children’s railway within Botanichna embamkment on the right bank of the Uzh river – 1000 square meters.
It will also be equipped with cabanas and lavatory.
However, the decision prohibits swimming, boating and the use of water entertainment facilities within the city limits.
