Transcarpathians will head the Association of Kyiv Fraternities

Last Friday, in Kyiv, at the request of the President of the Society of Transcarpathians in Kyiv Professor Vasyl Lazoryshynets, there was a meeting of the Presidium of the Fraternity Society - Orest Klimpush, Stanislav Arzhevitin, Victor Mykulin, Vasyl Bohach - with the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal and the head of Khust District State Administration Mykhailo Prystaya. They discussed issues of joint participation in the search of investment projects and their financing. The Governor said that thanks to Transcarpathians, some nearly impossible things have been done in the region. In a very short period of time, modern hotels, recreation centers have appeared, green tourism is being developed. Many guests from all over Ukraine and the near and far abroad are coming here. However, the advertising and information support of Transcarpathia is still insufficient. Another nationwide problem - roads - needs urgent solution which requires huge funds. Now, Vasyl Ivanovich said, the regional administration is working to attract foreign investors to improve the road infrastructure of the region.

Vasyl Lazoryshynets informed that, by the decision of the Association of Kyiv Fraternities of Ukraine, the Transcarpathian Society will be chairing the Association this year. This fact is a good opportunity to promote our region, our opportunities.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to invite to Transcarpathia in September this year a group of representatives of the Association of Kyiv Fraternities that will see firsthand the prospects of using not only the industrial but also recreational and tourism opportunities in the region, which borders with four countries of the EU.
