With the first sunny days, the traveling season, held under the slogan "Know your native land", started in Mukachevo orienteering club "Tovarysh". The goal pursued by the organizers, first of all, is to encourage pupils to study natural and cultural attractions of Mukachevo district and Transcarpathia in general, to stimulate teenagers to a healthy lifestyle.
The first 13-kilometer-long hike, the route of which stretches over the mountains from the village of Dubyno to St. Nicholas Monastery in Mukachevo, was attended by 32 students with parents. After conquering the Mount Shkitena, young tourists crossed Kosyno village and came to the picturesque lakes, located in an abandoned andesite quarry on the Mount Tupcha. From there, crossing the village of Kolchino, along the Vyznytsya river, pass the Chernecha mountain, the explorers returned to their hometown on foot. The journey was a success – besides excellent mood and positive emotions received by all the participants, most students decided to seriously prepare for the next trips.
