Members of the Transcarpathian student center of tourism and sport were successful in the Open Orienteering Championship of Slovakia. This event brought together all the strongest orienteers of the neighboring country, as well as guests from Hungary and Ukraine.

In relay events for women under 14, Mukachevo schoolgirls Nina and Katerina Tsepurdeys finished with the third result, losing only to teams from Pezinka and Kosice.

In both competitions among veterans, Transcarpathian relay teams finished fourth.

In the individual championship among men, the winner was Marian Davidik - silver medalist of the European championship that once was held in the Ukrainian Truskavets. Michal Krajčík lost him only one second.
