The film about Ukrainian heroes - "cyborgs" - was presented in Uzhgorod
The documentary "Airport. That day" was presented to students, the public and the military on Monday, May 25, in the main university of the region - UzhNU. It is a film about the battle for the Donetsk airport, the feat of valor, volunteer activities and support of the people, about the victory of patriotism and spirit.
The film was presented to the full hall of spectators by the rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka.
The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, who attended the screening, not only pointed out the heroism of our soldiers in the East, but also addressed the audience with a request. "I ask you, dear Transcarpathians, when you see a soldier, do not hesitate to approach him, shake his hand and thank for defending the state, for defending us. We must be grateful, we must support, we must be united - and then we will win," - Vasyl Hubal said. By the way, the head of the region prepares nomination of all Transcarpathian "cyborgs" for state awards.
The screening was also attended by a special guest - a participant of the defense of the Donetsk airport and other fighting at the front, Transcarpathian "cyborg" Roman Trubin.
Roman told about his participation in the defense of the airport, which was after the time of filming. In particular, he noted the coordination of different units that were defending the strategic object and the courage of soldiers, including Transcarpathians, with whom he fought at the legendary tower of the Donetsk airport. Roman pointed out the patriotic spirit and the atmosphere of brotherhood among the defenders.
"Frankly, I do not know how long these things will last, but I am sure that Ukrainians, including Transcarpathians, are ready to defend their country - to fight for it, and believe me, the army has learnt to do it" - our "cyborg" said.
