On May 10, in Uzhgorod, the "Carpathian league of strong men" held a power tournament "Junior Strongman – 2015". The competition was held among 15-18-year-old boys.
Young athletes had the opportunity to try their hand at the "strongman" sport. Three boys from Uzhgorod and four from Mukachevo took part in the competition. The main judges of the tournament were Ivan Grigorovsky (senior), Miron Grigorovsky and Victor Mieszko. The founder of this sport in Transcarpathia and multiple winner of the "Carpathian Bear" Ivan Grigorovsky was the host of the tournament.
This year’s exercises were:
1st – 52 kg axel and 70 kg log x 3 times
2nd – two 100 kg suitcases on a distance of 10 m
3rd – flipping of 100 kg tyres x 5 times and 300 kg tyres x 2 times
4th – holding 8 bricks for maximum time
5th – lifting 80 kg, 100 kg and 110 kg stones onto a platform
The winners are:
1st place – Kohutych Vitaly (Mukachevo)
2nd place – Kryvko Christian (Uzhgorod)
3rd place Bizilya Vasyl (Mukachevo)
