The Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region registered in the URPI a criminal offense over abuse of power by officials of Mukachevo border guard detachment (Part 1 of Art. 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It concerns the unlawful detention of a citizen of Palestine Attalah T. by border guards.
The Regional Prosecutor’s Office carried out relevant checks and found out that officers of Mukachevo border guard detachment, exceeding their authority, without sufficient legal grounds and without the protocol of administrative detention, without informing the Transcarpathian regional center to provide free secondary care, detained Attalah T. to draw up against him a report of committing an administrative offense, which was returned by the authorized body for lack of evidence.
